The technology of the pipeline x-ray flaw detector has obtained a national patent. The patent number is ZL 96 2 21410.8 and ZL 99 11 2367.0. In January 1999, the device passed the technical appraisal organized by the State Ministry of construction. After constant improvements, we have formed mass production capability and received promotion and application throughout the country. During assessment at Shengli Oilfield, both the State Bureau of Technical Supervision and the Sinopec Pressure Pipeline Assessment center gave a high evaluation rating to this technology.
